Around the World with Norman Rockwell

Back in the mid 1950s, Pan-American Airways (later Pan-Am) flew Norman Rockwell around the world in order for him to sketch some ads for the airline. However, Norman didn’t feel the trip was a success, as he was attracted as an artist to the local people, while the airline wanted illustrations of American tourists in far-flung locales. This short film documents the trip and illustrations:
