Fall Roundup: Brooks Brothers & L.L.Bean
The fall roundup continues, this time at Brooks Brothers and L.L.Bean.
Brooks is first, starting with their merino-wool cardigan in a heather kelly green:
Their merino-wool tipped cardigan in navy with grey and red trim:
The lambswool button-down collar polo sweater is pretty nice looking too, and comes in a few colors:
Their 3-ply cashmere crewneck that’s still completely made in Scotland, in a variety of colors:
I’m into donegal this fall, and their Milano fit donegal trousers look nice:
Now onto L.L.Bean. The Maine legend continues offer great fall pieces. This hand-knit sweater is a nice interpretation of a classic fair isle pattern:
The O-Ring belt is a nice modern look that avoids the bulkiness that D-ring belts sometimes have. Made in the US too:
My wife and I have been wanting to pick up some flannel sheets for the past couple of seasons, but never found one that was either in a pattern we liked or softness. But recently we have been attracted to ticking stripes and these sheets look like they may fit the bill:
Finally, L.L.Bean will be celebrating 100 years next year and are releasing a book, Guaranteed to Last, in January to help commemorate the event.
